Why Knowle?

In Solihull’s Local Plan, Knowle is identified as a ‘Local Centre’ and is therefore considered suitable for additional residential development given its sustainable location. This site will also compliment upcoming and existing developments to provide a space that is cohesive with the wider area.

A full planning application will be submitted in December of 2025.

A full planning application seeks approval for all aspects of a proposed development, including layout, design, landscaping, and access arrangements.


What happens after the application is submitted?

Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council will review the application and consult with statutory bodies and the public. You will have an opportunity to comment directly through the Council’s planning portal.


Can I still provide feedback after submission?

Yes. Once the application is live on the Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council’s planning portal, you can submit comments during the statutory consultation period.
